I am the setter for Wave Volleyball’s 16-1 team. Over the past three years my team has earned a bronze medal in the Open division at Nationals, we won the Las Vegas and Pacific Northwest qualifiers, the JVA West Coast Cup 3 times in a row, and we finished 2nd in the prestigious NIT Triple Crown tournament in the Elite division. My goal is to play volleyball in college at a school that will help me thrive both academically and on the court. Academics
Academics are extremely important to me. I am a sophomore at Torrey Pines High School and have a 4.0+ GPA. I participate in an accelerated math program that will allow me to take 2 years of both AP Calculus and AP Physics in high school. My electives focus on engineering and digital design. Sophomore year I received a perfect score on my standardized tests, the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress. I’ve scored in the 99.9 percentile on this test since I began taking it in 4th grade.
My favorite subjects are math and science, but I also love to write. My long-term goal is to work for NASA as a robotics engineer, designing and building Mars landing rovers. I plan to attend a college that is strong in science and engineering.
Other Interests
I’m never bored… I like to do things. I like to be creative, invent, draw, build, play sports, play music, solve puzzles, cook, write stories, and read… I really love to read!
